Dawnsbury Days is a 2023 tactical RPG from the indie studio Dawnsbury Studios that implements Pathfinder Second Edition — the latest evolution of the d20 / Open Game License lineage that began as D&D 3.5. Rather than chase scale, it distils PF2e to its tactical essence: you assemble a party of four adventurers, take them from 1st to 4th level, and play through a tightly designed sequence of encounters that double as a hands-on lesson in the system’s three-action economy.
Its rules descend from the d20 OGL family rather than a WotC license, which places it among the catalog’s unofficial entries.
Gameplay
Combat is turn-based and grid-based, faithfully modelling PF2e’s actions, reactions, conditions, and degrees of success.
